A graduate from Kenyon College with a degree in English Literature and Film Studies, Shea currently lives in Seattle and works as a development assistant for a production company. She hopes to make a career in the business of reading and writing, however that may be.

If Shea is not working, she is likely doing one of three things: 1) rereading a Jane Austen novel, 2) working on a screenplay she may or may not finish, or 3) phoning a friend. Her primary interests are in book-to-film adaptations, the revival of the romantic-comedy genre, and preserving network television. She blogs about such things and more on this very site.
